1.  SHIPPING AND PICKUP

1.1 DELIVERY AND HANDLING TIMES

Orders are processed from Monday through Friday and most orders are processed within 2-3 business days following the date of payment.

For delivery times, please refer to the times listed below as they are a good indicator in most cases:

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email including your tracking number. Simply click on it, and you will be redirected to the carrier’s website for more information.

1.2 SHIPPING PRICES

At Cycle Paul, we offer free shipping to most provinces within Canada, on most orders over $99CAD before tax. For most orders under $99CAD before tax, the shipping rate is $9.99CAD. For shipping to northern regions and remote centres, please contact us directly by email at onlinesales@cyclepaul.com.

Additional charges may be applied in cases where box dimension or weight requires special handling. Please refer to our shipping price estimates below:

Bikes cannot be shipped due to manufacturer policies. The only way to take possession of a bike purchased online is via in-store pick up at one of our stores in Pointe-Claire or Vaudreuil.

1.3 FREE IN-STORE PICKUP

If you would like to pick up your order in person (and avoid shipping fees), we offer same-day pickup for products that are in-stock at the desired location. A confirmation email will be sent as soon as the purchase is processed and ready for you to pick up. We look forward to meeting you!

2.  ORDER CHANGE AND CANCELLATION

To make any changes to your order or to cancel your order, please contact us immediately by email atonlinesales@cyclepaul.com. Please note that this is only possible if your package has NOT yet been shipped. Otherwise, please refer to our return and exchange policy below, or feel free to email us for further assistance.

3.  30-DAY RETURN POLICY

Following reception of your order, you have 30 days to return or exchange new items (with the exception of bikes and other items listed below) if you are unsatisfied with your purchase. In order for Cycle Paul to accept returned merchandise, it has to be in perfect condition, never used and with the original packaging and tags. If we refuse reimbursement for an item, the item will then be shipped back to you at your own cost. You must email us at onlinesales@cyclepaul.com if you’re wondering if an item can be returned, otherwise we will be unable to process the return. We’ll gladly answer all your questions.

Please allow up to 7 business days for the return to be processed. Refunds will be made according to the original method of payment used for your order. Initial shipping fees will not be refunded. If your product is a gift, the refund will be credited to the original purchaser.

3.1 RETURN VIA MAIL

It’s always possible to return your items without any fees by returning them in person to one of our stores. If you choose to return them by mail, you are responsible for the fees incurred.

To return an item by mail at your own expense, please contact us promptly by email at onlinesales@cyclepaul.com. Be sure to include the RA number (we will provide this via email), your full name, the product style, colour and size. We will walk you through the rest of the steps from there!

3.2 RETURN IN-STORE

If you would like to return an item in person (and avoid shipping fees), feel free to pop into one of our stores (located in Pointe-Claire and Vaudreuil) with the unused item in its original packaging and proof of purchase, and one of our Sales Specialists will be happy to process the return for you.

3.3 EXCHANGE

 Items are not exchanged via mail, but rather reimbursed. If you want to exchange a product, simply return the original product for a refund and buy the new item on a separate order. This makes for a more efficient process, since you don’t need to wait for the refund process to be complete before you can buy the new item.

Alternately, we would be happy to process the exchange in-store at one of our stores (located in Pointe-Claire and Vaudreuil). Bring the unused item in its original packaging and proof of purchase, and one of our Sales Specialists will help process the exchange for an item that better suits your needs.

4.  ORDER CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION

Cycle Paul reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in its sole discretion, including, without limitation, if Cycle Paul believes that user conduct violates applicable law or is harmful to the interests of Cycle Paul even if the order has already been confirmed and billed to your credit card account. Paul Cycle may remove a product from your order if an item is unavailable or cannot be delivered within a reasonable delay.

5.  PRODUCT WARRANTY

Cycle Paul aims to provide high quality products and which reflect the highest standards of the industry. All the products we carry are carefully designed to stay in top condition through all your rides, adventures and training. If you have received damaged or defective merchandise, please contact us within 30 days of purchase by email at onlinesales@cyclepaul.com. Cycle Paul will not accept returns with evidence of excessive wear, misuse, or alteration. Any rejected returns received by Cycle Paul will be sent back to you at your own cost.

4.1 CONTROL ERROR

If an error slips through our fingers when preparing your order, please contact us promptly by email at onlinesales@cyclepaul.com. We will be happy to send you a prepaid shipping label to return it at our expense. All you have to do is print the label, apply it onto your package and bring it to the Canada Post office nearest you at your earliest convenience.

4.2 DEFECTIVE PRODUCT

We honour the warranty policies of the manufacturers of our products. The first step is to contact us by email at onlinesales@cyclepaul.com and explain the issue. Photos, context and any other information that we can pass on to the manufacturer are required to proceed with your warranty claim. Your email must include your order number. Based on the information provided, we will contact the manufacturer and proceed from there.

4.3 30-DAY UNCONDITIONAL BONTRAGER GUARANTEE

With the Unconditional Bontrager Guarantee, you can test your Bontrager equipment and apparel in real riding conditions. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact us within 30 days of purchase by email at onlinesales@cyclepaul.com for a full, no-questions-asked refund. Think of it as a 30-day test ride.

This guarantee includes Bontrager aftermarket components, clothing and accessories. Bontrager original equipment componentry sold as part of a bicycle is excluded. Used items must be cleaned (washed and dried) in order to process the return. If these conditions are not met, we may send the items back to you at your own cost.

4.4 BONTRAGER HELMET CRASH REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE

You be provided with a free replacement helmet if it is involved in a crash within year of the date of purchase. Please contact us by email at onlinesales@cyclepaul.com, and include a picture of the crashed helmet, the original invoice, details of the incident and an address for your replacement.

4.5 BONTRAGER CARBON CARE WHEEL LOYALTY PROGRAM

If you damage a Bontrager carbon wheel while riding within two years of the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it free of charge. This coverage applies to Bontrager carbon wheels that come stock on bikes as well as aftermarket wheel purchases. Please contact us by email at onlinesales@cyclepaul.com, and include a picture of the damaged wheel, the original invoice, details of the incident and a phone number for our Service team to contact you.

4.6 BONTRAGER WOMEN’S SADDLE EXCHANGE

At the time of purchase of a brand new Domane carbon and Fuel Ex platforms, it’s possible to exchange the stock saddle for a comparable Bontrager Women’s saddle at no charge. Please send us an email at onlinesales@cyclepaul.com for more information.

4.7 TREK/BONTRAGER LIMITED WARRANTY

This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship for all Bontrager and Trek branded original equipment and aftermarket products. Please contact us by email at onlinesales@cyclepaul.com to initiate a warranty claim. Proof of purchase is required.

LIFETIME

  • Framesets (frame and rigid fork), main frame, and full suspension swing arms for the lifetime of the original owner
  • Bontrager wheels with carbon rims

2 YEARS

  • Apparel
  • Parts and accessories
  • Rear suspension linkage components, including bearings, rocker link, and accompanying hardware and components
  • Bontrager wheels with alloy rims
  • Paint and decals

SUBSEQUENT OWNERSHIP

Subsequent owners (second or later) are entitled to a three-year warranty from the date of original purchase from the retailer. Proof of original purchase is required to validate the coverage period.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper assembly
  • Corrosion
  • Improper maintenance
  • Installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle as sold
  • Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Labor charges for part replacement or changeover
  • Non-proprietary products (any other original part or component) covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty

THIS WARRANTY APPLIES TO

  • All model year 2020 and newer bicycles
  • Parts and accessories purchased after August 1, 2019.
  • Any products not specifically included above are omitted, but may be included in the 2012-2019 Trek Care Limited Warranty.

This warranty is void in its entirety by any modification of the frame, fork, or components. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective item at the manufacturer’s discretion. This warranty extends from the original date of purchase.

TREK CARBON CARE

Sometimes accidents happen. We know how much you love your Trek bike, and understand the burden of having to replace a non-warranty damaged bike frame or part. That's why we provide the Trek Carbon Care Program. This program can be used to obtain a discount on a replacement frame or component in the case of non-warranty damage.

4.8 TREK CARE LIMITED WARRANTY | TREK BIKES

Please contact us by email at onlinesales@cyclepaul.com to initiate a warranty claim. Proof of purchase is required.

LIFETIME

  • Frames for the lifetime of the original owner (see exceptions below)

5 YEARS

  • Swing arms on all full suspension bicycles (except the Session, Scratch, and Slash swing arms)

3 YEARS

  • Session, Scratch, Slash and Ticket aluminum frames and swing arms

2 YEARS

  • Brakes, baskets, computers, fenders, handlebars, locks, pumps, rear racks, repair stands, rigid forks, saddles, seatposts, stems, tools, water bottle cages and wheels.
  • Session and Slash carbon frames and swing arms
  • All rear suspension linkage components, including bearings, rocker link, and hardware
    electric bike motor, controller, and battery pack (2 years or 600 charges, whichever comes first)
  • All original Bontrager forks, parts, and components (except consumables such as tires and tubes)

1 YEAR

  • Apparel, bags, bar tape, gloves, grips, helmets, lights (excluding bulbs and batteries), rims, shoes, tires and tubes.
  • Paint and decals

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper assembly
  • Improper follow-up maintenance
  • Installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle as sold
  • Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Labor charges for part replacement or changeover
  • Bikes used for commercial activities, including those in rental, demo, or security fleets

This warranty applies to 2011 model and newer bicycles and covers only Trek and Bontrager branded products. This warranty is void in its entirety by any modification of the frame, fork, or components. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective item, and said repair or replacement is the sole remedy of the warranty. This warranty extends from the date of purchase, is offered only to the original retail purchaser, and is not transferable. This warranty applies only to Trek bicycles purchased at Cycle Paul. Cycle Paul is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages.  Proof of purchase is required.
