Why Regular Bike Service Matters
Your bike might look simple but it is made up of many small parts that all need to work well together. As you ride dirt moisture and everyday wear slowly build up even if everything still feels fine at first.
Over time this can affect how your bike sounds feels and performs. Regular service helps keep things running smoothly quietly and safely so every ride is more enjoyable whether you ride every day or just now and then.
At Cycle Paul we service bikes of all makes and styles. Road gravel urban or everyday riding, proper maintenance helps your bike feel better and last longer.
How do I know when my bike needs service?
If your bike is making more noise than usual that is often the first clue. Squeaky brakes clicking or grinding sounds rough shifting or a ride that just does not feel as smooth as it used to are all signs it might be time for a tune up.
How often should I service my bike?
There is no one size fits all answer. It depends on how often you ride where you ride and the conditions you ride in. If you ride regularly or through wet dusty or gritty conditions more frequent service will help keep everything working properly.
If you are unsure our team is always happy to take a look and point you in the right direction.
Nothing’s broken so why service it?
Service is not only about fixing problems. It is about keeping your bike feeling good and preventing small issues from becoming bigger ones. Regular maintenance helps protect your components and gives you confidence every time you head out for a ride.
